Improve the soil's organic matter content. Composted bark helps to increase soil moisture retention, improve soil texture and help break up heavy lumps. It also aids nutrient retention, root development and temperature retention.

Composted bark is suitable for a wide range of proffessional and domestic landscape applications, particularly when it is required to improve the soil structure, quality, humus levels and water holding characteristics.

Product Features
Easy to spread and incorporate using simple tools. Long effective service life, 3 years plus. Cost effective and peat free.

Application Rates
Spread evenly onto the soil surface to a depth of not less than 50mm, then thoroughly incorporate into at least the top 150mm of soil. These application rates can be exceeded on poor soils or where deeper penetration is required.
Can also be used as a surface mulch
